Hathikuli Black
Retail: $6.00

One of the BEST details that Simple Loose Leaf Tea Company does is give you a wonderfully detailed pouch with each of the different teas inside. They also give you the linen pouch that you can use for the different teas. This makes it a lot easier to keep the teas separated and make sure that your tea is going into the same bag every time.

The Hathikuli Black tea is part of one of Assam’s most prominent organic tea plantations. This tea has a distinct sweet maltiness that reminds me of honey and dates. I have a weakness for black tea and this one did not disappoint!

Japanese Kukicha
Retail: $17.00

I love the colors of the tea that this company sends. One could say that you eat and drink with your eyes. When I look at the vibrant colors of the tea, smell the intoxicating aromas, and then taste it, it is a whole experience.

The Japanese Kukicha is a blend of stems, stalks, and twigs of the tea-plant. One thing that I love about the Japanese culture is the fact that they use ALL of the plant or animal that they eat. This is something that I try to pride myself on as well.

This tea is a mix between a gyokuro green tea and a sencha green tea. It can also be steep several times which is amazing!

Midnight Herbal
Retail: $8.00

When I talked about how beautiful these teas are Midnight Herbal is the PERFECT example. This picture might not give it justice but it has Blue Lavender flowers, rose, and lemon grass. This is such a unique cuppa tea and I am so happy that they included it this month.

This is tea is an herbal tea in the truest sense of the word. If you need to sweeten it up, as I did, try a bit of raw honey from your region!

Fujian Oolong
Retail: $6.00

Oolong is a traditional Chinese tea produced through a process of withering the plant under a strong sun. The plant tends to curl up into a rolled leaf style. This is one of my favorite styles of tea. I love the woody aroma of the tea but it also has a slight sweetness in it as well. The more you steep this tea the better it tastes!

This has been another lovely tea box! I love the new design to the box as well. It made me smile the moment I retrieved it from my mailbox. You really couldn’t get a better tea box for the price of $9.00 a month. I high recommend you try it out!

White Monkey
Retail: $13.00

Something that I am really loving with Simple Loose Leaf Tea company is that their inner pamphlet keeps getting better and better with more information on the tea, the growing seasons, how it is made, and the different flavors that one will taste with them. You can really tell that the company loves what they are doing.

White Monkey is a full-bodied green tea that has a curled leaf structure. This tea is from China and it has a really light and sweet aroma. When tasting it I noticed that it had a hint of peach in the taste. As always I add a little bit of natural organic honey made in Oklahoma to help sweeten it a bit.

Yunnan 1st Grade
Retail: $7.00

Some of my most favorite teas are black teas and Yunnan is one of the best. It is from China’s Yunnan province. It has a slight chocolate flavor with hints of honey. Accentuated with my natural honey that I add to every cuppa. This tea is known as an everyday tea and is in the 1st grade which makes it a high-ranking tea.

Apple Cinnamon Herbal
Retail: $8.00

This probably had to be my favorite tea out of this month’s box. The aroma put me at ease and the taste was mind-blowing. I have a huge weakness for apple and cinnamon and when you put it with tea it jus takes it to another level!

This is a perfect tea for waking up on a cold morning, wrapping yourself in a blanket, sitting next to the window, and opening up your favorite book or maybe even writing in your journal. This tea primarily uses a cinnamon chip paired with South African rooibos leaves. I highly recommend this tea!

Pumpkin Spice Herbal
Retail: $7.00

This tea is basically Autumn in a Cup. It is perfect for the month of November. Pumpkin Month. It is seriously Thanksgiving in a Mug! The Pumpkin Spice Herbal tea uses a South African rooibos base that adds a sweetness to the classic Pumpkin Spice flavor! I really enjoyed this tea! The color was wonderful and it really made me feel cozy!

Mao Zhen Hair Needle
Retail: $7.00

This is an every day green tea. This is a bold cup of tea that will give you a little bit of a herbaceous flavor. What is fantastic about this tea is that as your cup steeps the flavors evolve and become different. It is suggested that you steep it for one minute, taste it. Steep it for another 30 seconds and taste it again. You will be able to really appreciate all of the flavors that develop as the tea steeps.

“OM” Herbal
Retail: $8.00

“OM” Herbal is just what you picture. I love the fact that just the name brought me a sense of peace and tranquility. It doesn’t stop there however. The ingredients in this flavorful tea are something else. Filled with cardamon, saffron, licorice root, fennel, ginger root, cinnamon and more, this tea is sure to awaken your inner self and help calm

you as well. It has amazing earthy notes. You wont regret this cuppa.

Rusty Roots
Retail: $8.00

If you are a lover of Chai tea this might be perfect for you. It has subtle hints of chai but with a low caffeine count. This would be a perfect cuppa right after dinner but before you are ready to settle down for the night. The notes include green rooibos, whole clove, lemon mrytle, whole pepper, and turmeric. I love the color, scent, and flavor of this tea.

Rose Grey
Retail: $6.00

I have a real weakness for Earl Grey tea. This is the lighter more fun twist on the Ear Grey tea with rose petals, lavender flowers, and rosemary. I love the subtle flavors that pair nicely with the Earl Grey notes. This is a great tea for breakfast with a scone or muffin.

Karakundah Black Tea

Rhis tea is perfect when it comes to a cooler night. I always sweeten my tea with a little big of natural honey from Oklahoma to help with allergies and whatnot. This tea is found in the Nilgiri region of India. The ingredients are Organic Korakundah Black Orange Pekeo Tea.

Northern Garden

This is one of the most beautiful teas I have seen! I love how the pearls open up when the tea is steeping. It is extremely relaxing to watch! This tea has a base of Ti Kwan Yin oolong tea. To jazz it up they have added a mouth watering amount of berries. You all know how much I LOVE berry tea! It is my weakness.

This tea can be sipped cold or hot. I would recommend using a little bit of honey or natural sugar to liven up the sweetness of the berries.

Pan Fried Green

Sometimes you just need a tea that doesn’t have any overwhelming flavors. You need something that is Simply Tea. This is the perfect green tea for those days. It is traditional and soothing to sip on the back porch while reading an amazing book!

Evening Herbal

This tea smelled like heaven to me. The subtle scents of peppermint, ginger, and lemon brought a sense of calm to a hectic day. These are three of my most favorite scents ever. The peppermint will open up your senses while the ginger will relax your tense body, and the lemon will awaken your mind and make the day feel brand new!

This tea is best brewed hot to get the full effects of the three main ingredients. I love it so much! It is my favorite tea in the whole box!

Simple Loose Leaf

I was graciously sent this TEA-licious box of Classic Tea by Simple Loose Leaf. Ya get it?! Ya get it?! Oh, my goodness! This tea is absolutely mouthwatering. They have something for everyone! From white tea, green tea, and black tea.

Grand

Grand Keemun is a surprisingly light black tea. I love how it just flows easily from the cup and into my mouth.

It is not overpowering in any way! I love that it has a slight fruit taste with hints of smoky notes in the aroma.

I, of course, sweetened it with a little bit of organic honey that I used in all of my teas and it was the perfect mixture!

I just love this box so much! Getting it every month is a huge delight! This tea originates from China and has the normal amount of caffeine. Perfect for a morning drink or something in the afternoon!

Berry

Okay, I think I have found my favorite types of tea thanks to this subscription box! I LOVE BERRY TEA!!!

This is the perfect mix of Sleepy Time tea with a hint of citrus and berries. I know that this will be my favorite tea right before bedtime!

You can drink it hot or cold. It has the classic herbal chamomile base that will help you fall into a relaxed state. Perfect for right before bed. It has hints of orange, hibiscus, and raspberry leaves.

Which is amazing due to the fact that raspberries are my favorite fruit! I highly recommend this tea!
In a way this tea kind of tastes like fruity pebbles the cereal! Haha!

Green

Oooooo! I love this tea! Not only is the color of this tea inviting, but the aroma is overwhelming. It made me close my eyes, breathe in a lung full of air, and sigh with such satisfaction.

I love how berry this tea tastes! It is a green tea hailing from China and has a normal amount of caffeine.

I can see myself brewing a whole jug of this and drinking it cold throughout the hot summer days! Just a little bit of honey and it takes the tartness to the perfect level!

This is such a wonderfully colored tea as well! It is full of green tea, hibiscus, marigold flowers, jasmine, and mango flavors! The perfect tea for those warm summer nights!


Last, but certainly not least it the Kashmiri Chai tea. I have a HUGE weakness for Chai tea. But this tea…it reminds me of my childhood.

Specifically, have you ever tried one of those cinnamon candies that your grandma, grandpa, or great-aunt always kept in their purse or pocket?

Those ones with the perfect amount of sweetness, spice, and everything nice? That is exactly what this tea has. It is perfect.

I can see myself drinking this tea all year round! I would most definitely drink this hot, myself. I just love how cozy it makes me feel!
